Why are basic bookings free?

Basic bookings are free because we earn a commission from hotels and cruise lines when a reservation is made through us. This allows us to provide our services to you at no additional cost. Our more complex services are charged for due to the extra work provided and arranging for services that are not commissioned (restaurant reservations, etc)

Where does fora fit in to this?

I am an independent travel agent, affiliated with Fora Travel. I am registered with them and am both a certified Fora advisor and work independently utilising their systems and relationships. Fora has created strong relationships with some of the biggest names in travel and I’m proud to be able to share that with my clients.

Can I still earn loyalty points?

Yes, you can still earn loyalty points when booking through us. Simply provide us with your loyalty program information, and we will ensure that you receive the points for your stay.

Can I use loyalty points for my hotel booking?

We cannot make a hotel booking for you with points. Hotels do not pay commission on these bookings and they have to be made from your account which we do not have access to. We suggest using points towards flights and paying for your hotels.

Do I pay you or the service provider directly?

You will pay the service provider directly, but facilitated by us. We will send a secure link for you credit card and then pay, or submit a hold request to the service provider.

When payment is taken is determined by the service provider and the rate booked. Some rates are payable in advance, and some at the end of the stay or activity.

This also means that you will still earn points with your credit card provider, if applicable.

How long does it take to get a quote?

Once you provide us with your travel details and preferences, we aim to provide you with a comprehensive quote within 48 - 72 hours for basic bookings, up to 1 week for trip planning, and up to two weeks for premium trip planning. We work diligently to ensure that you receive accurate pricing and itineraries tailored to your needs in a timely manner. We will maintain contact during the quoting phase.
